Some time ago I made a True Romance bracelet in aqua/lilac with gold filled metal findings. Since I hade one more of those vintage brass flower ornaments, I’ve now created a sister for that bracelet, this time with smoky quartz gemstones and silver findings. I’ve also added a beautiful, faceted iolite teardrop for extra charm & dingaling flavour…
Well, it’s been one week since I published the Facebook page for Fine van Brooklin and today I got my 60th fan! A giant Thank You to everyone who has liked the page, you are making me super happy! See you soon!
I made a Muse pendant. I stared at it for days. And I came to the conclusion that I just didn’t want to add anything else but this soft silk ribbon. Sometimes even I prefer simplicity.
The same thing happened with these faceted quartz chrystals. Just a dash of gold vermeil and silver did the trick this time.
The Freedom necklace has yet another appearance. This time the silver bird and jet black czech glass beads are in the company of some amazing white pearls that have a beautiful luster. In fact they are so lustrous that they can’t help but get over-exposed in my photographic endevours!
Thank You to everyone who has liked my page on Facebook and has found their way to my “new old blog”! Every thumb and visit cheers me up enormously! Please feel free to share these pages to your friends as well. I must admit that I’m a little shattered by the fact that when I changed the name of my blog address, I accidentally really deleted the old address so that it doesn’t exist anymore. I kind of feel like I’m blogging from the shadows at the moment. 🙂
I’ll leave you today with a link that almost brought tears in my eyes the other day. It’s an absolutely fantastic website created to promote a Monet exhibition in the Grand Palais in Paris last year. Take a moment to sit and relax, and hop on The Journey.
Things are about to change for the better :). In order to proceed with what I want for the future, the time has come to make a small change in my name. Please note that this blog, my jewellery and everything associated with them will from now on be called Fine van Brooklin with an i instead of a y. A little twist, a tiny quirk. But it makes all the difference for me. This week Fine van Brooklin also goes to Facebook, so stay tuned for that. I’ll post the address where you can go and “like” my jewellery as soon as the page is out there. In the meantime, make sure you update your bookmarks for Fine van Brooklin with an i! See you soon and thank you for being there!
Asiat ovat muuttumassa tuota pikaa parempaan päin :). Samalla on minun tullut aika tehdä pieni muutos nimeeni. Päivitäthän sillä välin kirjanmerkkisi Fine van Brookliniksi i:llä! Nähdään pian ja kiitos kun olet!
